Ali Landry may have first caught America’s attention as Miss USA 1996, but her journey extends far beyond the sparkling tiara and televised pageants. Known for her classic beauty and iconic Doritos Super Bowl commercial in 1998, Landry quickly rose to fame — but behind the camera, her real story is one of resilience, reinvention, and purpose.

Born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana in 1973, Ali’s Southern charm and poise made her stand out early on. After winning Miss Louisiana Teen USA, she climbed her way to the national stage and claimed the Miss USA crown — a title that opened doors to modeling, hosting gigs, and a stint as an MTV VJ.

However, fame wasn’t without its challenges.

In 2004, just two weeks after marrying actor Mario Lopez, Landry annulled the marriage after discovering his infidelity. The media frenzy was brutal. But instead of retreating, she reclaimed her voice, focusing on healing and rebuilding.

Years later, she found true love and stability with filmmaker Alejandro Monteverde, with whom she now shares three children. Together, they’ve embraced faith, family, and purpose-driven living.

Ali later launched Re/Shape, a wellness lifestyle brand aimed at helping women reset their lives — physically, mentally, and spiritually. Her advocacy includes empowering mothers, promoting natural health, and living intentionally.

“We all have moments that break us,” she once shared. “But those are the same moments that give us the chance to re-shape who we are.”

Today, Ali Landry is more than a former beauty queen. She’s an entrepreneur, a mother, a survivor, and a woman unafraid to evolve — in front of the world or quietly behind the scenes.
